Book a tasting at Il Cocco

A traveling tasting to savor the wines and visit the winery, the oak barrel aging rooms, bottling and bottle aging

We offer our guests the opportunity to participate in vineyard and winery work to witness the wine production process and winemaking procedure. We do all this following the themes related to the company’s activity, so our availability is strictly related to our work. We propose a traveling tasting, during which you can taste our wines and visit the winery, crossing the oak barrel aging rooms, rooms with steel tanks, bottling and finally bottle aging.
All visits with tastings are made only by reservation at specific times and days. All tastings are in Italian and English, depending on requests. For any translations into other languages, it will be necessary to book a private wine tasting with your own personal translator at a cost of 25€ per person.

We pair our wines with a selection of local cured meats and cheeses

Wine tastings are carried out only and exclusively by reservation, by Giacomo, the soul of the Cocco company who, with his constant work, personally takes care of every aspect of winemaking.
The tasting includes the tasting of 3 wines: Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino and Rosè Bongiorno, to which a selection of local cold cuts and cheeses will be paired.

The tasting is itinerant

I will accompany you through the vineyards and in the cellar and you will discover our way of being organic

During the tasting you will have an overview of organic farming, winemaking and aging of Brunello, up to the storage of bottles. My tasting will never be in jacket and tie, it is a tasting to discover the estate and our philosophy and your visit will be for us a reason to get to know each other and show you our love for this unique land.

The tasting has a cost of 30€ per person.I'm available any day except Sunday, the day I dedicate to myself to relax like everyone else.
